6th Annual Northwest Invitational March 26th-27th - UPDATES,SCORES, and VIDEO

It's that time of the season.  Mercer Island and Bellevue Lacrosse host the 6th Annual Northwest Invitational this weekend March 26-27, 2011. 14 teams from around the region including Washington, Idaho, Oregon, Nevada and British Columbia will play at three different venues. All of them are top contenders in their respective states and the invitational provides a competitive exhibitions to gauge their skills.  Last year, the Canadian teams from British Columbia made strong showings, as well Oregon's finest. Costs are $5 for admission, children under 10 are free.  This year's invitational is sponsored by Warrior, Breakaway Sports and of course, us!  Walax.com and Warrior Lacrosse will also host a FREE clinic on Saturday at 3-5pm for youth and Middle School players on the adjacent field to the Mercer Island High School stadium.  We are also providing exclusive coverage of this year's event.  Below are lists of participating teams and schedule of games.  Check back this weekend for write-ups, interviews, pictures and video!  Thank you to all organizers, volunteers, teams, parents and Mercer Island Lacrosse for a great weekeenfd of lacrosse.  Photos provided by Sound Lacrosse.
